Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a subsidiary of Amazon.com that provides on-demand cloud computing platforms.
Amazon Web Services Global Summits are held all around the world; these events are designed to educate new customers about their platform and offer existing customers in-depth knowledge on how to be more satisfied with AWS. For the first time, this event was organized in India at Mumbai on 3rd May 2017. The experience was exciting for HNR Tech team, and we were honored to be a part of such a spectacular event.
The event commenced with a welcome note from some well-known personalities like Dr. Werner Vogels, Chief Technology Officer (Amazon.com), Mr.Rakesh Bhatt, COO (Bajaj Finance), Mr.Nachiket Pantvaidya, CEO-ALT (Balaji Telefilms) & Mr.Ashok Krish, Head- Social Media & Workplace Reimagination Practise (TCS). A series of Sessions and activities were held demonstrating the use of AWS services in different situations and applications. The CTO of Amazon then addressed us, which was quite inspiring. Detailed information was given about the insights on Amazon Lex & Polly which are core to the number of AI Bots in the market. They also demonstrated a good overview on developing a growing cloud practice with AWS. The best part of the exhibition was ‘Build On Cloud’ sessions which described the uses of AWS services to build world-class applications.
It was a delight attending such a big and fruitful event, and we thank AWS for giving us a chance!
